Explore & Restore brings together Argentina and Brazil over seven nights, beginning with a choice: three nights among the vineyards of Awasi Mendoza or in the Atlantic Rainforest at Awasi Iguazú, followed by a night in Buenos Aires and three nights at Awasi Santa Catarina on Brazil’s southern coast.
The route has a clear shape, but no fixed daily plan. Every villa has its own guide and 4×4 vehicle, leaving you free to stay longer, turn back or follow a last-minute recommendation.
At Awasi Mendoza, a horseback ride through the Andean foothills might end with an asado at a family-run estancia. Other days can be spent visiting wineries, cycling the Camino de las Carreras or making empanadas with the lodge’s culinary team.
At Awasi Iguazú, spend three nights in the dense rainforest, close to the Paraná River and Iguazú Falls. Visit the Falls, kayak from Awasi’s private river deck onto the Alto Paraná or walk from the lodge to meet members of a neighboring Guaraní community. Here, water is never far away.
Between lodges, Buenos Aires is yours for the night. A complimentary stay at one of Awasi’s partner hotels leaves time to head out, eat well and enjoy the city before flying on to Brazil.
Next stop: the Atlantic.
At Awasi Santa Catarina, forest paths lead to secluded beaches, while the protected waters around Arvoredo Island are home to sea turtles and shoals of fish. Try a surf lesson at Praia de Palmas, spend time at the Wellness Center with a treatment, yoga or meditation, or simply leave the afternoon open.
