Awasi Santa Catarina Receives WITT Certification
We are delighted to share that Awasi Santa Catarina has received WITT Certification, an independent global recognition of hotels and resorts where wellness is thoughtfully integrated into the guest experience.
WITT – Wellness in Travel & Tourism – assesses properties against more than 100 criteria across five pillars: Healthy Eating, Holistic Healing, Nature, Movement, and Local Impact.
Its standards consider the full experience of a stay, from gastronomy and wellness programming to the surrounding environment and relationships with the local community.
At Awasi Santa Catarina, these elements have always been closely connected. Our Wellness Center offers treatments and personalized programs designed around each guest, while the organic garden, locally sourced ingredients, and the work of Chef Dani Damasceno bring a strong sense of place to the table. Days can include time in the Atlantic Forest, movement beside the ocean, or simply the space to rest.
Just as important is our connection to Governador Celso Ramos: the people, producers, and traditions that have shaped this corner of Brazil’s Emerald Coast. More than 70% of our team is local and our ongoing conservation work includes planting native species, composting, and protecting native stingless bees.
This certification is both a celebration and a recognition of what our team brings to Awasi Santa Catarina each day: a way of caring for guests that also cares for the place around us.
