Departing early from the lodge’s pier to avoid crowds, this half-day excursion begins with a scenic boat ride. Upon arrival, a guided walking tour leads you through the fortress ground, offering insight into Brazil’s colonial past.

Rising above the surrounding landscape, Morro do Pico offers a rewarding challenge for those drawn outdoors. After a 10-minute transfer from the lodge, embark on a steep hike that ascends 500 meters through lush native vegetation, winding its way toward the summit.

Just 10 minutes from the lodge, Praia de Fora is a sheltered stretch of coastline with gentle waves. It’s the ideal setting for those new to surf. Led by professional instructors, each 2-hour session includes all necessary equipment and personalized guidance, designed to build confidence and prepare you for your very first wave.

After a 50-minute drive from the lodge, the day begins at Adega Scherer, a family distillery. Learn about the artisanal production of cachaça, followed by a guided tasting session.
