Many also feature acclaimed restaurants, where local ingredients are paired with carefully selected wines.

Nestled in the Andes at 1,066m, Vallecitos offers summits between 3,000m-3,500m with sweeping mountain views of the top. This midday adventure departs the lodge at 10am, arriving by 11:30am. Thoughtfully planned according to your fitness, health and preferences, with a professional guide.

Aconcagua Park

Awasi Mendoza

Rising to nearly 7000 meters, Aconcagua is the highest peak in the Americas, a giant of the Andes and a symbol of natural grandeur. This full-day trek begins at Horcones Lagoon, inside Aconcagua Provincial Park, at an altitude of 2950 meters. Accompanied by a professional guide, you’ll follow the Horcones River Valley, taking in breathtaking views of Aconcagua’s south face and the Andean landscape.

Rafting

For those who enjoy a dose of adrenaline, rafting on the meltwaters of the Mendoza River is an unmissable experience. With moderate difficulty (Class II+ / III+), it’s accessible, exciting, and set in a stunning natural environment.

Condor Lookout Trail

A private reserve in the Andes offering multiple hiking routes for both half-day and full-day excursions. Located 1.5 hours from the lodge, it ensures privacy and a more exclusive experience, far from the crowds found on public trails.

Discover the rural roads and vineyards around Awasi by bike. The flat and gentle terrain is perfect for casual cyclists or anyone seeking a relaxed and scenic ride. For those looking for more adventure, some trails allow for a faster pace. Routes can include visits to nearby wineries like Decero and Ojo de Agua, offering a unique blend of outdoor activity and wine tasting.

E-Biking tour

To reach the starting point, we transport the bikes by vehicle to a scenic unpaved road located about an hour from Awasi. Once there, guests can choose how much of the 30 km route they wish to explore. It’s a flexible experience that can easily be combined with visits to Uco Valley wineries, horseback riding, or hiking in the same area.

Potrerillos Bike Tour

Departing from the lodge around 10 AM, we transport guests by vehicle just 40 minutes to the starting point at beautiful Lake Potrerillos. Once there, guests pedal an approximately 12 km route circling the pristine lake. At the end, relax with a delicious picnic prepared by our chef, savoring stunning views of the Andean cordillera and shimmering lake landscapes.

Sailing

Departing from the lodge, we transfer guests by vehicle (approximately 40 minutes) to the starting point at Club de Windsurf. Once there, we sail on the lake for 1.5h or 3h enjoying the stunning surrounding landscapes.

Ranch Experience

Andes Horseback Ride

Awasi Mendoza

Located 1.5 hours from Awasi, this family-run ranch sits along the scenic Camino de la Carrera, offering sweeping views and a sense of vastness. Upon arrival, guests are warmly welcomed with coffee before setting off on a horseback ride along rugged trails that wind through hills and untouched native vegetation, offering a stark contrast to the vineyard landscapes. The experience ends with a traditional asado and wine, shared with the hosts.

An ideal way to explore the vineyards and rural landscapes surrounding the lodge. The terrain is flat and gentle, making it perfect for less experienced riders, though there’s also the chance to canter along certain trails. Rides can include visits and lunch in the nearby wineries such as Finca Decero, Ojo de Agua, Las Perdices and Septima.

Golf Course

Guests can enjoy two courses, the first at Club de Campo, an iconic 18-hole course designed by architect Carlos Thays in 1974, just 30 minutes from Awasi Mendoza. It’s the only 18-hole championship course and host to international tournaments. Another option is at La Vacherie, a scenic 9-hole course located 20 minutes from the lodge, offering breathtaking Andes views from every hole. Gentle terrain and playful layout make it perfect for relaxed rounds.

Vendimia – Grapes Harvest Celebration

Awasi Mendoza

Step into Mendoza’s most cherished tradition. Join our vineyard team at sunset for the grape harvest celebration, where you’ll receive traditional scissors, aprons, and buckets to pick grapes just as generations have done before. As evening falls, live music fills the vineyards, wine flows freely, and folk dancers bring centuries-old traditions to life and you are invited to stomp the grapes with you bare feet. The celebration ends with a dinner among the vines, under the Andes, where harvest becomes feast and tradition becomes memory. (March-April).
