Monday Waterfall – Paraguay

Jesuit Missions
During the 17th and 18th centuries European Jesuit missionaries arrived in the Rainforest and lived side by side with the Guaraní Communities, building impressive reductions. It is the ruins of these buildings we can still see today.
Güirá Oga Animal Refuge
Güirá Oga is a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation centre dedicated to the protection of native fauna in Misiones. Visiting this refuge offers insight into local conservation efforts and provides the opportunity to observe native species up close.
Alto Paraná River & Yasy Fall
Explore the Paraná River, South America’s second largest river and the natural border between Argentina and Paraguay. Navigate upstream to discover hidden creeks and the secluded Yasy Fall.
Mendoza Cooking Class
You will learn how to cook empanadas, grilled bread, steak eye, tomaticán and grilled fruits (typical local food). Includes Cavas Wines & water service, Cavas apron and souvenir recipes.
Wine Tour
Accompanied by bilingual drivers, you will be able to explore the wine country, discovering the spirit of Mendoza in each place, such as premium tastings and wine-paired lunches in the best wineries.
Horseback Riding In Our Vineyards
Leaving the Lodge, you can visit some of the nearby wineries on horseback: Finca Decero and Ojo de Agua. All the rides are followed by delicious meals, either as a charming picnic or a delicious lunch at the lodge or the own wineries.
Hike In the Andes
One hour away from Awasi Mendoza, you can choose from different hiking options between 4,500 and 8,000 ft. above sea level. Each trip is planned according to your preferences and physical conditions.
Arvoredo Island Diving
Just a 45-minute boat ride from the lodge, the Arvoredo Marine Biological Reserve unveils an extraordinary underwater landscape, with vibrant reefs and rich marine life, including sea turtles, dolphins, rays, octopuses, seahorses, and dozens of tropical fish species.
Anhatomirim Fortress Tour
Departing early from the lodge’s pier to avoid crowds, this half-day excursion begins with a scenic boat ride. Upon arrival, a guided walking tour leads you through the fortress ground, offering insight into Brazil’s colonial past.
Morro de Pico Hike
Rising above the surrounding landscape, Morro do Pico offers a rewarding challenge for those drawn outdoors. After a 10-minute transfer from the lodge, embark on a steep hike that ascends 500 meters through lush native vegetation, winding its way toward the summit.
Kotula Trail
This trek is perfect for those who enjoy staying active and seeking out unique experiences. Situated outside the National Park, the trail is often empty, offering a sense of solitude. While the ascent is relatively steep, it rewards hikers with diverse ecosystems and excellent bird-watching opportunities.
Surf Lessons at Praia de Fora
Just 10 minutes from the lodge, Praia de Fora is a sheltered stretch of coastline with gentle waves. It’s the ideal setting for those new to surf. Led by professional instructors, each 2-hour session includes all necessary equipment and personalized guidance, designed to build confidence and prepare you for your very first wave.
Cachaça Distillery & Horseback Ride
After a 50-minute drive from the lodge, the day begins at Adega Scherer, a family distillery. Learn about the artisanal production of cachaça, followed by a guided tasting session. A one-hour horseback ride can be arranged before or after the distillery visit, another way to experience the rural beauty of the region.
Florianópolis City Tour
This full-day cultural journey begins with a 1-hour drive from the lodge to the historic center of Florianópolis, from the colonial-era buildings at the Praça XV de Novembro to the Fazenda Marina Paraíso das Ostras, where you can learn about oyster farming.
Base Torres
The Base Torres trail is one of the most iconic and popular in the National Park, but also one of the most challenging. Our journey will take us deep into the Ascencio Valley, culminating at the awe-inspiring granite Torres del Paine and a turquoise glacial lake.
Grey Glacier Lookout
A close-up glacier viewing experience. This excursion begins with a scenic drive from our lodge to the park’s heart, followed by a ferry ride across Lake Pehoe to the trailhead. From Guardería Paine Grande, we’ll embark on a hike towards the Southern Patagonian Icefield and the renowned Grey Glacier.
Horseback Riding
Horseback riding is a key part of gaucho culture and a classic Patagonian experience. Set at a traditional estancia near Torres del Paine National Park, this ride offers a simple and authentic way to explore the landscape and understand the region’s rural traditions.
Sierra Contreras
Just behind Awasi Patagonia, the Sierra Contreras mountain range offers a clear introduction to the surrounding landscape. From the summit, take in wide views of the Paine mountain range, Sierra Baguales, Valle de las Chinas, Lake Sarmiento and the Patagonian steppe.
Loma Guanaco
Loma Guanaco, as the name suggests, is a prime location for observing large herds of guanacos. These impressive wild South American camelids, standing approximately 2 meters (7 feet) tall and weighing between 90 and 140 kg (200 to 310 lb), are among the largest native land mammals on the continent. Their presence often attracts other local species, including foxes, pumas, and condors.

Rainbow Valley is a paradise for geology lovers, it stands out for its characteristic landscapes of the Domeyko mountain range, unique colours and a great variety of activity options, including hiking and viewing petroglyphs of archeological and historical significance.
Sunrise At Licancabur Volcano
Enjoy the calm of the oasis as the sun rises over the Andes Mountains and the iconic Licancabur Volcano. The vibrant colors of dawn and the peaceful atmosphere create a perfect setting to share breakfast in the company of your private guide and the surrounding nature.
Tatio Geysers
Set over 4,300 metres above sea level, El Tatio geothermal field features steaming fumaroles, bubbling thermal springs and high-altitude geysers framed by Andean peaks and volcanic terrain.
Chaxa Lagoon
Chaxa Lagoon is notable for its expansive views of the Atacama basin. The main attractions include the salt flat formations and a diverse variety of birdlife; particularly flamingos, which can be observed depending on the season.
Astronomical Observation
San Pedro de Atacama offers some of the most favourable stargazing conditions on Earth. The stargazing tour provides a guided view of the night sky, observed with the naked eye and through a powerful telescope, while exploring constellations and Andean cosmology.
Jordan to Armação Trail
Explore the 8 km trail from Jordão to Palmas through coastal forest, with panoramic views, native flora, and access to pristine beaches along the way.
