To mark Earth Day, Conde Nast Traveler (Spain) published an article featuring their pick of “15 hotels hidden in nature for an unforgettable journey“.

The article, as seen above, urges readers to look for places surrounded by nature where time seems to stop for a while.

“Each room at Awasi Iguazu has a personal guide and private vehicle,” says Conde Nast Traveler, “allowing you to explore the jungle and untouched nature in this corner of the planet.”

“By means of excursions that allow you to submerge yourself in the Iguazu National Park, rediscover the Parana River, the Puerto Peninsula Park, or the Triple Border of Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. Awasi Iguazu offers a truly exceptional experience,” writes journalist Maria Belen Archetto for the prestigious Conde Nast magazine.

“The villas,” continues Archetto, “are carbon neutral and built on stilts to minimizar the environmental impact, contributing to the protection of 340 hectares of native woodland thanks to funds raised via The Awasi Foundation.”

It is so beneficial to step away from the norms of everyday life, slow down, take a deep breath and enjoy living in the present moment.

Our guides are aware of the importance of allowing guests to enjoy nature, and take some time in the peace and quiet. They are informative but careful not to fill every moment of silence with facts!

The focus for Earth Day 2022 was to protect the planet.

“This is the moment to change it all — the business climate, the political climate, and how we take action on climate,” says the Earth Day website.

“Now is the time for the unstoppable courage to preserve and protect our health, our families, and our livelihoods. For Earth Day 2022, we need to act (boldly), innovate (broadly), and implement (equitably). It’s going to take all of us. All in. Businesses, governments, and citizens — everyone accounted for, and everyone accountable. A partnership for the planet.”

There are tools and ideas on the Earth Day website for ways to get involved.
