During the uncertain times of the global pandemic, many people wrote to us saying they have been dreaming of being at Awasi Patagonia. Tucked away from the troubles of the world, on our private reserve with a villa just for you, surrounded by nature in all its glory.

There are 14 remote villas at Awasi Patagonia, our Relais & Chateaux lodge in Southern Chile

The key ingredient in The Awasi Experience is our team. They are the ones who think outside the box, creating individual experiences to fit each guest that comes to stay.

From the reservations team to the managers, housekeeping staff, guides and chefs at our lodges, the coordination works like players in an orchestra coming together to create a piece of music.

Over the past few months, we are grateful to welcome a steady flow of guests to our Relais & Chateaux lodges again. To mark this moment, we wanted to share some comments from guests who have recently stayed at Awasi Patagonia:

Planning

“A big thank you to Caitlin from central reservation for being the most helpful and dedicated reservation manager you can possibly find” – Awasi Patagonia guest from Mila, Italy.

The Awasi Experience begins at home when you start to plan your trip. At this point, we ask for as many details as possible so we can create a personalised trip just for you.

Guides

“The private tour guide alone is enough reason to book Awasi over other hotels in Patagonia. We were able to see/do every activity we wanted to with flexibility depending on how we were feeling each day. Lalo was the most amazing tour guide – he had such a depth of knowledge about the region and an intuition into the exact experience we were looking for” – Sarah K, New York.

From the outset, we have been believers in private guiding. Each room at Awasi Atacama, Patagonia and Iguazu is given its own private guide and 4×4 vehicle. Excursions are tailor made, so guests sit down and plan their itinerary upon arrival.

Team

“Simply put, this is the most magical place we ever had the privilege to visit. Not only because of it’s unbelievable location and facilities – you won’t believe the views from your bed – but specially for every single person on their staff that would surprise us over and over and over again everyday along our stay, many times a day, with their effortless generosity, attention to the smallest of details, knowledge of every aspect of the region and so much more” – Diego, Rio de Janeiro.

As a Relais & Chateaux hotel, the standard for cuisine and service is set very high. At Awasi, everything can be personalized.

Gastronomy

“Finally, the food is extraordinary. We New Yorkers like to think we speak with some authority when it comes to food and I would put the Awasi up against any of the city’s best chefs. The emphasis on local ingredients greatly adds to the experience and helps to immerse guests in Patagonia. Again, highlighting the lengths to which the Awasi goes to accommodate guests, there is a full vegetarian menu available for each meal. Dinner is not to be missed.” – Jeff M, New York.

Overall…

“Awasi Patagonia is one of those rare gems in the world that if you are lucky to go once in your life it’s like experiencing a spectacular rainbow or National Geographic image that never leaves your mind” – Suzana, Tennessee.

Iconic landscapes of Patagonia

Awasi Patagonia is a Relais & Chateaux lodge on the edge of Torres del Paine National Park, Chile. There are just 14 individual villas plus a central main lodge where guests flock for meals and drinks. Excellent service, local-sourced gastronomy and accommodation with a sense of place – all are found at Awasi.
