We have created a new activity guide to help you decide what you explore the activities on offer at Awasi Atacama, our Relais & Chateaux lodge in Chile’s Atacama Desert.  

Our guests craft their own personalised itinerary upon arrival at the lodge. Each room has a private guide and 4×4 vehicle at its disposal for the entire stay, so guests sit down with their guide to create their own unique itinerary.

If, however, you are feeling a little impatient, you may like to start planning out your Awasi Experience before arrival. This is where our interactive guide to excursions comes in.

So you can work out what options there are, activities are filtered under the following categories: leisure, culture, active, wildlife, horseback riding, aquatic and bike. Each day you will be able to choose either one Full Day or two Half Day excursions to explore Atacama’s natural beauty. 

Simply select the filters along the top based on your interests, then you can explore the options from the drop down menu.

From sporty activities like hiking, biking and horseback riding, to visiting Andean villages and wildlife watching, there is a huge amount waiting for you in the Atacama Desert.

You may like to take note of anything of particular interest. Upon arrival in Chile our private guides will take your preferences into account, monitor closely how you are acclimatising to altitude, and check the weather conditions. Then, together, you will design the ideal experience for your stay.
