We recently shared the words of our guest Diogo from Brazil in a blog post about the return of international guests to Awasi Patagonia.

“Simply put, this is the most magical place we ever had the privilege to visit,” Diogo wrote about his time in Chile’s Torres del Paine National Park with us.

We now have the honour of following him back home to Rio de Janeiro via some photographs he kindly shared with the team.

Wondering what could be happening in this photograph?

We sent Diogo a recipe for chocolate cake with dried fruit so he could recreate something of the Awasi Experience back home with his children.

The baking process was not just hands on, but also hands in.

As all good chefs know, it is essential to taste the food during preparation.

Congratulations to Diogo’s sons for this professional-looking bake. Our Relais & Chateaux chefs agree it is an excellent effort and are wondering when the boys are going to join the Awasi team.

Diogo visited Awasi Patagonia in November 2021 from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Located on the edge of Torres del Paine National Park, Southern Chile, each room at Awasi Patagonia (and all Awasi hotels) is given a private guide and 4×4 vehicle, and each experience is created around the interests and needs of our guests. Awasi Patagonia is a Relais & Chateaux lodge with 14 individual villas.
